Thornhill Summer skate is this weekend, and this blog has some photos and brief reports. Plus a guest appearance by Brian Joubert (who was not competing). Nobunari Oda apparently WD from the event, and Duhamel/Radford - competing in singles this time - won the men's and ladies' senior SP category. Thornhill is being shown on Skatebuzz, so I'm expecting some videos online soon.
My previous post got deleted, but since it was just Glacier Falls and a short note re the Quebec summer competition, I won't try to rewrite it.
It's better than nothing, but I must say, summer competitions aren't
nearly as fun as the real thing. I am so looking forward for it to end and the skating season to start!
ETA: here's a report about last weekend's Lake Placid ice dance competition with some thoughts about the new format from various coaches and skaters.
